Kentucky reports 1,768 new COVID cases, 31 deaths

There were 1,768 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Sunday in Kentucky and 31 more deaths.

Governor Andy Beshear said the positivity rate remained about steady at 8.81 percent, 1,327 Kentuckians are in the hospital with the virus, 354 are in the ICU and 173 are on a ventilator.

Kentucky’s pandemic death toll now stands at 3,745.

Tennessee reported 3,119 new cases and 76 deaths Sunday. Hospitalizations fell to 1,574 and Tennessee’s positivity rate was 8.52 percent.
