NFL Network reports a source as indicating the Tennessee Titans will likely promote tight ends coach Todd Downing to offensive coordinator. Downing was once offensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders. He would replace Arthur Smith, who was recently named head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.
College Sports
The Ohio Valley Conference issued a statement today about the departures of Eastern Kentucky University and Jacksonville State University. Commissioner Beth DeBauche said EKU had written to the league office to announce intentions to leave and Jacksonville State had given a verbal announcement they are leaving. Both are reportedly headed to the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Number-17 Tennessee will host number-18 and college basketball blue-blood Kansas tomorrow in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. The Vols are 11-and-3.
Vanderbilt will try to end a six game losing skid tomorrow hosting South Carolina.

The Nashville Predators are going on the road opening a four-game trip tomorrow night against the defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning in Tampa. The Preds sit at 4-3-and-0.
NBA
The Memphis Grizzlies are scheduled to play tomorrow night against the San Antonio Spurs. Memphis has not played since January 18th with its last five games postponed by COVID-19 issues. Memphis was on a five-game winning streak when its season was halted by the virus. The Grizzlies are 7-and-6.
