Kentucky’s positivity rate falls for 11th consecutive day

Kentucky’s positivity rate declined for an 11th consecutive day Friday as Governor Andy Beshear announced 2,608 new cases of COVID-19 and 57 more deaths.

The positivity rate fell to 8.75 percent, 1,505 Kentuckians are in the hospital, 355 are in the ICU and 199 are on a ventilator.

Three western Kentucky counties—Lyon, Crittenden and Carlisle—are now orange instead of red on the state incidence rate map.
