Executive Director of Oak Grove Tourism Traci Cunningham has been selected to serve as Event Director of the Kentucky Travel Industry Association.
According to a news release, the position is for tourism professionals that have produced major festivals or events either on the tourism side of the industry or a conference and event Center which Cunningham operates on both sides. She will serve a three-year term. Cunningham also currently holds positions on the Kentucky Association of Convention and Visitor’s Bureau as well as Vice President on the Southern Kentucky Film Commission.
Cunningham says, “I am thrilled and excited to be a part of the Kentucky Travel Industry Association Board of Directors as one of their newest board members. I believe this is an extraordinary opportunity to better serve this industry. I am always looking for ways to do my part in helping Kentucky’s tourism economy grow and for the people of the country to see what an amazing state we have.”
