Christian County opened the Toby Miles era with a 64-48 loss to Owensboro Catholic. Bubba Leavell had 14 points to lead the Colonels followed by Derrell Bateman with 10 second half points. Owensboro Catholic had three players in double figures led by Brian Griffith with 25 points in improving to 8-1.
