The PGA Tour announced today Davis Love III will be the US captain for the 2022 President’s Cup. The 56-year-old Love has twice been US captain for the Ryder Cup, losing in 2012 and winning in 2016. The 2022 President’s Cup will take place September 19-25 at Quail Hollow Golf Club in Charlotte, NC.
The PGA of America announced Monday Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, OK will host the 2022 PGA Championship. It replaces Trump Bedminster after the recent announcement by the PGA of America of its disassociation with the former President. The 2022 PGA Championship will be played May 16-22. Southern Hills will host the event for the fifth time.
