A new trial date was set Monday in Christian Circuit Court for Adrian Murray, the man accused of shooting Keosha Willis in Oak Grove in 2018.
Trial had been set to begin Monday for 22-year old Adrian Murray, but it had to be delayed.
Attorney Michael Thompson has been looking to find a way for Murray to be released until his trial and while Murray is sought on an indictment warrant in Montgomery County, Thompson says it’s likely he could bond out in Clarksville with an ankle monitor if he’s able to get out of the Christian County Jail.
Judge John Atkins declined to modify Murray’s bond any further after reducing it to 10 percent of $50,000 in December.
Judge Atkins set a trial date for May 20 and 21. Murray allegedly shot Willis on September 1, 2018 during an incident on Meridians Way. He’s also accused of leading Oak Grove police on a vehicle pursuit in July of 2019 that crossed into Tennessee.
He’s charged with first-degree assault, fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment, trafficking in cocaine and several other counts.
