Two Todd County men arrested for drug trafficking

An investigation by multiple agencies led to the arrests of two Todd County men on drug trafficking charges.

Personnel from the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, the South Central Kentucky Drug Force, Todd County Sheriff’s Office and Elkton Police Department conducted an investigation that led to the arrests of 43-year old Daniel Belll of Duke Street and 59-year old Albert Toner of Wilson Toner Road.

A news release says Bell was holding large amounts of cash and picking up large quantities of methamphetamine, marijuana and other drugs that he was bringing into Todd County.

He was reportedly taking them to be stored in a work shed on Toner’s property prior to distribution, according to police.

A search warrant was executed Wednesday at Toner’s property, allegedly revealing a large quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine, a large amount of cash, two guns and a revolver.

A search of Bell’s Dukes Street home allegedly turned up meth, drug paraphernalia, cash and digital scales.

Toner and Bell were both arrested for trafficking in meth, pills, cocaine and marijuana. Bell was also charged with tampering with evidence and Toner with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
