Woman arrested on warrant for assault, strangulation

An arrest warrant for assault and strangulation was served Friday night against a Hopkinsville woman.

It alleges that on December 15, 54-year old Teresa Sills of Hopkinsville assaulted two victims. She allegedly choked one woman, causing her to fall over a porch railing and onto a sidewalk.

The warrant says she then punched the woman, causing injuries that required treatment at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

She’s accused of grabbing the other victim by the arm and scratching her.

Sills is charged with two counts of fourth-degree assault and one count of second-degree strangulation.
