The Hopkinsville Tigers opened the season with a 71-53 win over Trigg County. The Tigers had three players in double figures led by Jamarcus Burks with 17 points with Reece Jesse and Alijah Watts each adding 10. Trigg County was paced by Devon Ladd with 15 points as the Wildcats fell to 1-3 on the season.
