The Rotary Club of Hopkinsville announced the theme for the 2021 Rotary Auction at Tuesday’s meeting, as they celebrate 100 years of service to the community.
This year’s theme will be “Building the Foundation” and was announced by new Auction Chair Cody Noffsinger, who says he’s been thinking hard about how he wants to move the auction forward while keeping the focus on helping local students attend college. He says the theme really highlights how the Rotary Club works hard to build up the community.
The auction will take place April 19 through the 24 and he says they are committed to having it during those dates and in-person—he says they are also not setting a fundraising goal.
This will be the 71st WHOP Rotary Radio Auction, and Noffsinger it’s just continuing the long standing tradition of building up others, students and the community. Things have been very different due to the ongoing pandemic, but Noffsinger is confident the community will once again rise to the occasion to help out their fellow man.
