The Calloway County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a single-vehicle crash that sent a woman to the hospital for treatment.
According to a news release, investigation determined that a vehicle driven by 25-year old Peyton Mays was heading westbound on Highway 94 around 7 a.m. Monday morning when her tires hit a patch of ice on a bridge. She lost control of the vehicle, which struck a guardrail, crossed the travel lanes and struck another guardrail.
Mays was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries received during the collision.
