Kentucky reports 2,362 new COVID cases, 34 deaths Sunday

There were 2,362 new cases of COVID-19 in Kentucky and 34 more deaths, according to the Sunday report from Governor Andy Beshear.

The state’s positivity rate remained about steady at 11.49 percent and the death toll now stands at 3,127.

There are 1,602 Kentuckians in the hospital with the virus, 410 are in the ICU and 212 on a ventilator.

Meanwhile, the Tennessee Department of Health reported 4,474 new cases and 36 additional deaths. The Volunteer State has a positivity rate of 13.1 percent and there are 2,699 Tennesseans in the hospital with the virus.
