The St. Louis Post Dispatch reported sources as saying Thursday the 2021 season could be the last for Mike Shannon on the St. Louis Cardinals radio broadcasts. Shannon has reduced his schedule in the last several years in planning for his retirement. The 81-year-old Shannon will be in his 50th season on the Cardinals broadcasts. He began with Jack Buck in 1972.
