CCHD reports three COVID-19 related deaths

Christian County has had its 65th, 66th and 67th COVID-19 related deaths, according to the Christian County Health Department.

The victim are a 77-year old white male, a 79 year old black female and a 90-year old black male, all of whom reportedly had underlying health conditions.  Health department officials urge people to keep up those well-known, needed guidelines of wearing a face mask, social distancing and frequently, and thoroughly washing your hands to help stop the spread of the virus to the most vulnerable.

The Christian County Health Department is no longer taking names for the COVID-19 vaccination waiting list for those 70 years and older. They are currently working through the current list of names and once  everyone on the list is vaccinated, they will open a roster that allows the community to schedule their own appointment
