A Hopkinsville woman was injured in an accident at the Pennyrile Parkway and MLK Bypass interchange Monday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jeff Goulet says 22-year old Camaya James of Hopkinsville was attempting to merge onto the Pennyrile Parkway from the Bypass and drifted into the left lane, side-swiping a tractor-trailer operated by 29-year old Roy Kelly of Georgia.
It caused her car to spin and strike a semi driven by 53-year old Kevin Lawson of Arkansas, who was exiting the Parkway to get onto the Bypass.
James sustained lacerations to her head and complained of head and leg pain and was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
