Kentucky reports 3,232 new COVID cases Sunday, 7,419 in Tennessee

Governor Andy Beshear announced 3,232 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Sunday in Kentucky and 25 more deaths.

The commonwealth’s death toll now stands at 2,901, there are 1,713 Kentuckians are in the hospital with the virus, 380 in the ICU and 212 on a ventilator.

The positivity rate remained very high at 12.45 perent.

Christian, Todd and Trigg remain red on the state COVID-19 incidence rate map—with Lyon and Hickman the only orange counties in Kentucky.

The Tennessee Department of Health reported 7,419 new cases and 81 more deaths Sunday. The positivity rate was 16.31 percent and 3,085 Tennesseans are in the hospital with the virus.
