Traffic stop leads to drug trafficking charges

A traffic stop Friday afternoon by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office on the Pennyrile Parkway led to the arrests of two people for drug trafficking.

Deputy Johnny Colon stopped 26-year old Devin Jobe of Henderson and a news release says further investigation determined he and his passenger—19-year old Christina Simmons of Henderson—were in possession of multiple bags of marijuana, a large amount of cash, drug paraphernalia and THC jelly.

Both suspects were arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana and drug paraphernalia, with Jobe also charged with speeding, 26 mph or greater over the limit.
