The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of New Hope Road in Trigg County starting Monday.
New Hope Road will be closed between Jack Humphries Road and Prather Road to allow repairs to the Potts Creek Bridge and approach.
A news release says the bridge crew will be excavating the bridge end for base repairs to improve the bridge approach.
New Hope Road is expected to close at approximately 8 a.m.Monday. The roadway at this site is expected to remain closed until sometime late in the day on Wednesday, January 13.
Approximately 570 vehicles travel this section of New Hope Road in an average day.
