Trigg Co. Hospital taking COVID vaccine appointments for 70 years and older Tuesday

Trigg County Hospital is now accepting appointments to get a COVID-19 vaccine for citizens 70 years of age and older, with 500 vaccines immediately available.

According to a statement, they will begin taking appoints at 8 a.m. Tuesday, with the vaccine dates set for Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 270-522-0898—only two people can be registered per phone call.  A face mask, ID and insurance card will be required to get the vaccine. The shots will be administered at the Trigg County Complex Lexie Bush Convention Center.

Two hundred vaccines will be available Wednesday and 300 on Thursday.  For more information, contact Trigg County Hospital at (270) 522-3215.
