Titans edge Texans and win AFC South title

After learning before the game they had clinched the AFC South title, the Tennessee Titans had to pull out a nail biter against Houston Sunday. Sam Sloman kicked a 37-yard field goal as time expired as the Titans edged the Texans 41-38. Ryan Tannehill finished with 216 passing yards, including a 52-yard strike to A.J. Brown to set up the winning field goal. Tannehill also rushed for two touchdowns, and Derrick Henry rushed for 250 yards and two scores. Henry also eclipsed the 2,000 yard mark for rushing this season.

The 11-5 Titans will host the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday in the opening round of the AFC playoffs in Nashville.
