Governor Andy Beshear will give a joint State of the Commonwealth and Budget Address Wednesday night to a joint session of the Kentucky House and Senate.
It will begin at 6 p.m. Central Time and will air live on Kentucky Educational Television and on the governor’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
Whatever budget approved will be for the 12 months beginning July 1 and must be approved by a two-thirds majority in each chamber due to it being a traditional non-budget session.
