Murray State announced Wednesday its women’s game with Morehead State scheduled for the CFSB Center for Saturday has been canceled due to Covid-19 protocols. The game will hopefully be made up at a later time. The Racers men will host Morehead State at 4 pm Saturday.
Austin Peay announced today the game with Tennessee State that was canceled yesterday due to Covid-19 protocol will be made up Monday at the Gentry Center in Nashville. The game will tip off at 5 pm. The Lady Governors are back in OVC action Saturday hosting Eastern Kentucky at 1 pm.
Meanwhile, Kentucky’s women’s team has landed an opponent for Sunday to make up for the cancelation of the Tennessee game due to Covid-19 protocol. UK will travel to Mississippi State for a noon game with pregame at 11:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and whopam.com.
Louisville women’s basketball has added a new opponent to its schedule. The Cardinals were to have played North Carolina tomorrow, but the game was canceled due to Covid-19 protocols. Louisville now will face Bellarmine on Saturday with tipoff slated for 11 am Hopkinsville time. The Bellarmine game was originally scheduled for December 6th, but was canceled due to Covid-19 issues with Louisville’s team.
