An investigation by Hopkinsville police Thursday afternoon on Middle Street ended with the arrest of a man for burglary and unlawful imprisonment.
An arrest citation for 21-year old Jacob Gary of Hopkinsville says he had previously been warned to stay away from the home on Middle, but that he went there Thursday and told the woman inside that he wanted her cell phone while yelling profanities.
He allegedly took possession of her phone and threatened to kill her if she called the police about him being there.
He was arrested shortly before 5 p.m. at a location on East First Street Extension and charged with second-degree burglary and first-degree unlawful imprisonment.
