Ja Morant went off for 44 points, 34 of which were in the second half, but it wasn’t enough as the Memphis Grizzlies fell to the San Antonio Spurs 131-119 in their season opener at FedEx Forum. Morant also dished out nine assists. Memphis welcomes the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
