Hopkinsville police are investigating the shooting death of a man on Brown Street Tuesday afternoon as homicide.
Officers were called to 502 Brown about 3:20 p.m. to check the welfare of 21-year old Dylan Stewart and found him dead from a gunshot wound.
An autopsy was performed Wednesday and Detective Sgt. Todd DeArmond says the cause of death was determined to be homicide. Anyone with information on the incident should call Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS.
Stewart was shot in the leg during an incident on January 24, 2019 on Bethel Street.
