Bond reduced, trial date set for Oak Grove shooting suspect

Adrian Murray, the man accused of shooting Keosha Willis in Oak Grove in 2019, will head to trial after attorneys were unable to come to an agreement on a plea offer—and his bond was reduced Tuesday in Christian Circuit Court.

Murray appeared virtually along with defense attorney Michael Thompson, who informed the court they were unable to come to a resolution, and needed to set a trial date—but his client was still seeking a bond reduction.  After consideration, Judge John Atkins set his bond at ten percent of $50,000, with the requirement that he wear an ankle monitor and observe other restrictions.

Judge Atkins set a trial date for May 20th and 21st. Murray allegedly shot Willis on September 1, 2018 during an incident on Meridians Way. He’s also accused of leading Oak Grove police on a vehicle pursuit in July of 2019 that crossed into Tennessee.
