A woman was injured in a vehicle versus pedestrian accident Sunday afternoon at East Ninth and Main Street in Hopkinsville.
It happened about 1 p.m. and the report from Hopkinsville police says 50-year old Laurie Jimoh of Hopkinsville was turning left from East Ninth onto Main and her van struck 49-year old Gretchen Howard of Bellingham, Washington, who was walking in the crosswalk on South Main.
Howard was knocked off her feet and was transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
