McConnell Announces New COVID Relief Deal

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky announced the agreement Sunday for a new coronavirus relief package.

The $900 billion plan includes another round of stimulus payments of $600 for most individuals.  It also includes help for small businesses and more unemployment relief.

Senator McConnell called it the bipartisan deal that Americans have been waiting for.

He noted that they still need to put the final touches on the text before it goes for a vote.
