Two people were arrested Thursday morning for allegedly breaking into a downtown Hopkinsville building.
The owner of the building at 136 South Virginia Street had reported break-ins on several occasions and requested extra patrols from Hopkinsville police.
A check of the building Thursday morning by HPD Sgt. Rico Rodriguez found 36-year old Scott Ethridge and 31-year old Holly Burns inside.
The pair had reportedly plugged in several appliances and a light, using the building’s electricity.
Both suspects were arrested for third-degree burglary.
