Hopkinsville police are investigating after two suspects used force to get out of the East Seventh Street Dollar General Store with stolen merchandise Thursday night.
The incident is being investigated as second-degree robbery and an HPD report says the store employee sustained minor injuries after the perpetrators shoved him to get out of the door with about $20 worth of sweat shirts and sweat pants.
The suspects got away and the incident remains under investigation.
