Todd County already has record month for new COVID cases, Trigg adds 12 more

We’re just more than halfway through December and it’s already been a record month for new coronavirus cases in Todd County.

The Todd County Health Department reported nine new cases Wednesday—all adults isolating at home—bringing this month’s total to 128.

Todd County now has 85 active cases—83 at home and two in a hospital—and 471 of 571 total cases have recovered.

Meanwhile, the Pennyrile District Health Department noted another 12 cases in Trigg County. An 86-year old man and a 76-year old woman are hospitalized and the other nine adults and one juvenile are at home.

Trigg County has had 568 total cases.
