Former UK assistant Schlarmann receives Broyles Lifetime Award

Former University of Kentucky offensive line coach John Schlarmann, who recently passed away after a battle with cancer, will receive posthumously the Frank Broyles Lifetime Achievement Award. The award, presented by the Frank and Barbara Broyles Foundation, is being given to Schlarmann as one of the greatest assistants in college football and arguably one of the best assistants in Kentucky football history.

Schlarmann joined Mark Stoops staff in 2013 and was on the staff until his death last month. He was also a former UK player.
