Austin Peay lost a doubleheader in the Dunn Center as the Governors fell to Florida A&M. 76-70. Mike Peake led Austin Peay with 18 points, while Terry Taylor pitched in 13. The Governors are now 4-3 on the season and are back in action next Monday hosting Murray State in Ohio Valley Conference play.
In the women’s game, Chattanooga edged Austin Peay 65-64. The Moccasins used a 19-6 run in the 4th quarter to get the win. The Governors were led in scoring by Brandi Ferby with 16 points as Austin Peay falls to 2-2 on the season. Next up is the Ohio Valley Conference opener against Murray State Saturday afternoon in Clarksville.
