Sisk Honda donates $15K to Arts Council for live-streaming capabilities

People will be able to more easily access the arts locally, thanks to a generous donation from Sisk Honda to the Pennyroyal Arts Council.

According to a news release, Sisk Honda donated $15,000 to the Pennyroyal Arts Council to invest in equipment to support live streaming capabilities for the historic Alhambra Theatre. Offering the live-stream option makes the arts more accessible to members of the community, especially those who may not feel comfortable attending a performance in-person.

Local vendor Music Central assisted with the installation which included commercial grade cameras, digital console boards and broadcasting equipment.

Sisk Auto Mall President Wilson Sisk says, “Now more than ever we need creative individuals to inspire us, enlighten us, and to bring us together through art. Sisk Honda is proud to be a small part of bringing us all a little closer together”

The Alhambra Theatre will offer livestream ticket sales to events starting with Brooke Bailey Dance Addiction and the Pennyroyal Arts Council’s inaugural production of The Nutcracker.
