The Christian County Health Department reported 44 new cases of COVID-19 from Wednesday to Thursday.
That brings the overall total since the pandemic began up to 3,384—of that, 663 are considered active and 2,669 people have recovered from the virus. Broken down into age groups, there 106 active cases in the pediatric age group, 355 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 188 in the older adult category and 14 in the elderly age group.
Christian County has had 52 COVID-19 related deaths.
