The Hopkinsville Police Department will no longer offer fingerprinting for background checks, starting immediately.
According to a news release from Public Information Officer Mike Atkins, the change is in effect at once and is in line with state regulations. Appointments can be made for fingerprinting through a website, found here, or by calling 844-543-5981.
The nearest fingerprinting location can also be found on that website.
