Princeton man arrested for burglary at Madisonville Taco Bell

Investigation of a burglary at the Madisonville Taco Bell Saturday led to a vehicle pursuit and arrest of a Princeton man.

Madisonville police say 39-year old Heath Baldwin of Princeton entered the closed lobby of Taco Bell on Madison Square Avenue a few minutes after 5 p.m. and stole the cash register.

He fled the area in an SUV, which was located by the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department, which began a pursuit.

After several turns, spike strips were used to bring the pursuit to a conclusion at Highway 2171 and South Main Street.

Baldwin was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, fleeing or evading police and traffic violations related to the pursuit. Police say the Taco Bell cash register was in the front seat of his SUV.
