The United Way of the Pennyrile is one of multiple agencies receiving funding from an employee driven campaign from the Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company.
According to a news release, the companies raised around $2.2 million to be given to agencies across Kentucky, and in portions of Tennessee and West Virginia. The contributions are being allocated to United Way of the Pennyrile and 26 additional nonprofit organizations to support programs and services in 2021.
The United Way of the Pennyrile serves multiple non-profit agencies in Caldwell, Christian, Todd and Trigg counties.
