Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is cheering the latest news about potential coronavirus vaccines.
Speaking on the Senate floor, the Kentucky Republican claimed additional relief for Americans has been held up by Democrats.
McConnell called the House-passed HEROES Act a “political stunt” that doesn’t accomplish the core mission of helping those who are struggling. After several months with no progress, McConnell claimed even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s own members in the senate say the Republican proposal is a bill they can pass.
