A Hopkinsville man was injured in a single-vehicle collision in Muhlenberg County Monday evening.
According to a news release from Kentucky State Police, Trooper Hunter Carroll responded to reports of a wreck involving a semi-truck near the 48 mile marker of the Western Kentucky Parkway around 7:30 p.m. Investigation reportedly determined that the semi, with a flat-bed trailer, had been heading eastbound when it overturned for an unknown reason.
The driver of the semi, 76-year old Jack Lovins of Hopkinsville was taken to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
