The deadline for small businesses to apply for the City of Hopkinsville’s small business stimulus program has been extended until close of business December 31.
Applications are available on the city’s website and for pickup at the Municipal Center, public library and at the Christian County Chamber of Commerce.
To be eligible for a grant, a business must be headquartered in Hopkinsville, has to have been negatively impacted by the pandemic, cannot be delinquent on any taxes owed to the City of Hopkinsville, have 25 or fewer full-time employees and have a current Hopkinsville business license.
Hopkinsville City Council earlier this year approved $335,000 in federal CARES Act funding for grants to small businesses.
