Vanderbilt University announced the firing of head coach Derek Mason on Sunday. The Commodores lost 41-0 at Missouri on Saturday and are 0-8 on the season. Offensive coordinator Todd Fitch will serve as interim head coach for the remainder of the season. Vanderbilt plays at Georgia on Saturday.
