Former Belmont coach Rick Byrd is going into the College Basketball Hall of Fame. He is part of an eight-man 2021 class elected to the Hall. The 67-year-old Byrd coached at Belmont for 33 years, leading the Bruins to eight NCAA tournaments. He will be enshrined next November in Kansas City.
