The Sporting News reports the Toronto Blue Jays will be getting a new stadium. Rogers Centre will be demolished and rebuilt on the same site as part of a new development. Another media report indicates the new stadium will have a natural grass surface. The stadium-first known as the Skydome-opened in 1989. It’s reported the plans will be unveiled in the New Year.
