The Christian County Health Department has reported another COVID-19 related death, along with 25 new cases Friday.
According to a news release, the victim was an 82-year old Caucasian male who had other underlying health conditions and it brings the overall death toll related to coronavirus in the county up to 45.
The 25 new cases brings to overall total locally up to 2,916—of that, 571 cases are considered active and 2,300 people have now recovered from the virus. Beginning on December 1, the health department will be offering rapid tests at the department on Tuesdays and Thursdays while continuing to offer standard tests at Tie Breaker Park on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
