Austin Peay trailed by as many as 21 in the first half and lost their final game to Abilene Christian 80-72 in the Gulf Coast Showcase. Terry Taylor had 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Governors with Jordyn Adams adding 14 among four players in double figures. The Governors fall to 2-1 and return to action next Saturday hosting Transylvania in their home opener at the Dunn Center.
