Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena is facing legal issues after being detained in Mexico for alleged domestic violence. ESPN reports Arozarena was arrested after he allegedly tried to take his daughter from her mother and then assaulted the woman’s father. Charges have not yet been filed in the case. The 25-year-old had a breakout postseason for the Rays this year, hitting .377 with 10 home runs and 17 RBI in just 20 playoff games.

The Atlanta Braves are bringing back a familiar arm. The team has signed veteran pitcher Charlie Morton to a one-year, 15-million-dollar contract. The 37-year-old right-hander went 2-and-2 with a 4.74 ERA in nine starts for the Tampa Bay Rays this past season. Morton started his career with the Braves in 2008, but was traded to Pittsburgh the following year.
