A historical marker will be unveiled and dedicated next month to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the old Trenton school building.
The event is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, December 5 on the front lawn of the building on US 41.
The building and campus is being recognized by the Kentucky Historical Society with their 2,625th historical marker.
Social distancing will be observed and attendees must wear facial coverings.
Meanwhile, Trenton officials have announced the cancellation of this year’s Christmas parade due to the pandemic, with Mayor Martha Jo Ray saying it’s their intention for it to return in 2021.
