The Christian County Health Department has announced five new COVID-19 deaths Tuesday.
The victims are 71-year old and 91-year old women and three men—71, 69 and 89-years old—and all victims had underlying health conditions. There have now been 44 coronavirus deaths in Christian County.
Health officials are imploring residents to take preventive steps such as wearing a mask, social distancing and frequently and thoroughly washing hands.
